Catfoot Garden Design
Catfoot Garden Design is based in the East Midlands and Amanda has experience within several design based disciplines. She is twice qualified as a Garden Designer with distinction on each occasion. Amanda qualified in 1998 from Brackenhurst College in Garden Design and Construction and also passed her RHS certificate at the same time. She graduated from the Pickard School with a Diploma in Garden Design in 2013.
Amanda qualified as a furniture designer in 1984 and has worked within the industry for the last thirty years. Throughout this time she has designed and developed gardens for friends and family and has worked part time within the horticultural trade. She is still closely involved with the furniture industry through her role on the court of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
Amanda enjoys the challenge of garden design, creating spaces within gardens, the organic development of structures, materials, planting and the whole process as it evolves. Do not forget that she has the ability to design that special piece of furniture or interesting structure your garden may require!
Amanda is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers. She has been awarded RHS Gold medal and a Silver Gilt Medal for Show Gardens at Tatton Park in 2014 & 2015, and RHS Gold Medal for a Summer Garden at Hampton Court.

What Our Customers Say
Simon and his team have done several projects in our garden and we have been completely satisfied with the quality of his work and the very reasonable prices he has charged us. Unlike some landscapers we have worked with before he listens to what you have to say and incorporates your wishes into the final design. His team are courteous and considerate. We will certainly be asking him back for the next bit of our garden renovation.
