Karen McClure Garden Design
My passion for landscape, gardens, plants and creativity inspired me to successfully study for my Garden Design Diploma at the the Museum of Garden History in London. I then completed my Royal Horticultural Society exams at Hadlow College in Tonbridge. My hobby soon became my full time career and now a fast-growing business.
I love working closely with my clients to help them fulfil the potential of their outside space, undertaking as little or as much as they, and their budgets dictate. Whether it is producing a simple moodboard to inspire my clients, or a complete garden design masterplan, no client remit is too small or too big! Many people find it difficult to visualise the true potential of their garden and can often find themselves confused with the huge array of trees and plants or where to place features for best effect. I regularly go on sourcing trips with clients to find the perfect tree, sculpture of piece of furniture for their garden. I also offer a project monitoring/consultation service and work closely with the contracting team and my extensive network of contacts to bring alive the true potential of an often under-estimated outside space.
Garden design enables me to work with the things I am so passionate about; creativity, plants and design!
